About This Guide
Created November 1, 2026
This site is a plain-language guide to one specific thing: the Bangladesh education board result re-scrutiny process — the board challenge, or khata challenge, that students file after SSC, HSC, Alim and Vocational results are published.
Every result day, the same confusion repeats. A student finds a grade that looks wrong, hears five different explanations of what to do from five different people, and has about a week to act before the application window closes. Shops near colleges offer to "do the challenge" for a fee several times higher than the official one. Lookalike websites and apps show up in search results. We built this guide to cut through that: one place that explains what re-scrutiny is, what it costs, how to apply on the official portal, and what happens afterwards.
What you will find here
The homepage carries the current picture for HSC 2026 — the application window of 1 to 7 November 2026, the Tk 150 per paper fee, and the full step-by-step application process on rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd. Our posts go deeper: a screen-by-screen application walkthrough, a fee and payment guide for bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay and Sonali Seba, and an explanation of how revised results are published and what a changed grade means.
Who this guide is for
It is written for the students themselves — the HSC candidate staring at an unexpected grade, the Alim student under the Madrasah board, the Vocational student under the Technical board — and for the parents, elder siblings and teachers who usually sit next to them while the form gets filled in. Everything is written in simple English, with the numbers that matter stated plainly: dates, fees, and deadlines.
What this site is not
This site is not the portal. We do not take applications, we do not collect roll numbers or registration numbers, and we cannot check, change or speed up anyone's result. Applications happen only on the official board portal, and results are published only by the boards. When our pages describe the application steps, they end where the official portal begins — you do the actual filing there, with your own information, on the government's own website. The disclaimer page sets out this relationship in full.
How we keep it accurate
Dates, fees and procedures on this site are taken from the education boards' own announcements and the official result portals, and pages are updated when a new result or re-scrutiny window is announced. Board rules occasionally change between exam cycles, so before paying any fee, cross-check the window and the amount against the official portal itself — that is the source that counts.
